2. Data processing on our website

a. Logfiles

 

If you visit our website, our web server temporarily stores every incidence of access in a log file. The following data are recorded and stored until automatically deleted:

IP address of the requesting computer
Access date and time
Name and URL of the file called up
Amount of data transmitted
Message indicating whether retrieval was successful
Detection data for the browser and operating system used.

These data are processed for the purpose of permitting use of the website (connection setup) as well as for system security, for technical administration, for the network infrastructure and to optimize the Internet offer. We cannot associate these data with any specific persons. These data are not merged with other data sources. The data will be deleted after 14 days at the latest. We reserve the right to review the server log files after the fact in the event that of specific indications of illegal use.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (f) GDPR.

 

b. Collection, processing, and use of personal data

 

Your legitimate interests are considered at all times during data processing. Personal data are collected only if you voluntarily provide us with these data (such as your name, e-mail address or mailing address) when contacting us.

We use the data provided by you without your separate consent exclusively for purposes of getting in touch with you, e.g., to respond to your questions, initiate and/or carry out orders, prepare a personal offer, answer press inquiries or process your application. Your data will then be blocked for further use unless you have given your express consent to the further use of your data.

In the context of contract data processing, your data will be passed on to freelancers working within our network only where this is necessary to process your contact request. As subcontractors, these individuals are subject to the provisions of the GDPR. In connection with e-mail communication, your data will be processed by our web and e-mail host (HostEurope GmbH, Hansestr. 111, 51149 Cologne). Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. Under the GDPR, the legal bases for data processing are Art. 6 (1) Sentences 1 (a) and (b) GDPR.

 

c. SSL encryption

 

We use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g., SSL) via HTTPS to protect the security of your data during transmission.

 

3. Communication via e-mail

Communication via e-mail is fast, efficient and economical. It may also involve security gaps, however. If we receive an e-mail from you, we assume that we are entitled to respond by e-mail. If not, you must expressly inform us of some other permissible avenue of communication. The consent to contact you via e-mail can be revoked at any time.

 

4. Rights of data subjects

You may exercise the following rights at any time through the contact data provided for the data controller:

Information about your data stored with us and its processing (Art. 15 GDPR),
Rectification of incorrect personal data (Art. 16 GDPR),
Erasure of data we have stored about you (Art. 17 GDPR),
Restriction of data processing in cases in which we are not yet permitted to erase your data due to legal obligations (Art. 18 GDPR),
Objection to the processing of your data with us (Art. 21 GDPR) and
Data portability, provided you have consented to data processing or have concluded a contract with us (Art. 20 GDPR).

If you have given us your consent, you can revoke it with permanent effect at any time. You can complain to a supervisory authority at any time, e.g., to the competent supervisory authority of the German federal state in which you reside, or to the authority responsible for us.
